Canned tuna pasta salad, coconut water and a $20 subway footlong carried us through the twist and turns of the Buckskin Gulch. Wading through thigh high waters and sliding into deep peanut butter mud. Silence and laughter echoed through the canyon walls. Pt 2
The plan was to hike the Grand Canyon. While visiting our great aunt. But fires in the canyon lead to it being closed. The Buckskin Gulch was a quick decision and, at the time a bummer of a second option to the Grand Canyon. However it was truly one the most magnificent trips I've been on. Roaring silence, sculpted rocks and vast views replenished my soul. With @bradon.good
