pensando mucho en mi yo de quince años, que estaría sentada en un tubo de un descampado mitad albero, mitad cemento, después de cinco horas de lol, contándole a alguna de las personas más importantes de su (nuestra) vida cómo en las piedras había conchas porque todo aquello, hace mucho tiempo, había sido el fondo del mar. Que en el río se habían encontrado esqueletos de ballenas y delfines, y que debajo de la calle la mina hay un túnel con peces ciegos.

𝑬𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒌𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊 (@erisabakalli ), 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊́𝒏 (@_entomo ) and 𝑵𝒂𝒐𝒎𝒊 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒗 (@naomiserov ) share a studio at MORPHO Stuivenberg, on the first floor of the gatehouse of a former hospital.
They give us a look behind the scenes of their recent work process, which resulted in PIECEMEAL at @artists_nicc , an installation where multiple images and objects coexist and interact. PIECEMEAL is the result of a five-month ongoing conversation, where they exchanged gestures and proposed answers from their respective backgrounds between painting, drawing and sculpture.
On Saturday 27 September at 2pm the artists invite you to the HEAR ME OUT SESSION, a relaxed gathering where participants can share references, images, gestures, clips, or any other kind of creative input. You are invited to bring and share your own collection of references: whether printed images, USBs with material, books, artworks, films, etc.
