Making the Master 🖤 Pendant Pt2
First things first, I cleaned up the casting and tested the resin out. No point fiddling about w/ the hoop if the resin didn’t look right; that went well so moved onto Soldering the hoop. This burnt out the resin. It needed to be out as it’s the master for a mold. Lastly I worked into the leaves for extra detail and then dropped it back off at the casters.
Very much enjoying adding colour to jewellery 🎨 there’s def a lot of experimenting to be done.
Jewellery making can be long winded and I’m pretty impatient tbh 😂 I’m already working out the blk floral ring in my mind, but first, let’s finish this guy❤️

Custom Chain for Craig
Pt2 Assembly & Finishing ⛓️
Made from 6mm links in sterling silver and 9ct gold.
Chains are hard work. If Craig hadn’t asked me for this I’m not sure I would’ve ever done it. I remember putting together wallet chains and bracelets at the Great Frog and know how time consuming it can be.
I’m glad I said yes to this; my brain is firing off more combinations and link ideas. Loved putting this together.

🔪Wax Carving Process
This design started off on a chunky piece of wax…
Which gave me room to experiment with different ideas along the way. One minute it looked shot, the next I was back liking it. The eyes for example, they started off circular, just to map them out. When I added wax to make eyelids, I didn’t like it. So put extra buggy eyes back in. Point being, it’s gonna look weird half the time, keep going. I still don’t know how it will look in silver until it’s made. Hopefully, all good!
This will be 3D scanned, digitised & reduced in size. The wax here is 7cm wide. The final pendant will be around 3.5cm wide and cast in silver. An even smaller one in gold all being well

Painted a few weeks back in Allen’s Gardens
I’m still pissed about it. Great company, great weather, good times apart from community officers. They say that the council have ‘claimed back’ the wall, you can’t paint here, a wall that’s been legal for as long as I can remember. At the same time someone’s holding a graffiti class on the same wall, teaching kids how to hold a can, spray the paint. At the other end you’ve got addicts meeting. In the middle you’ve got us, just painting, chatting to photographers and other passers by. Did the other people get moved on, no.
The community offers were the most anti social thing about that day. Anyone else who paints there had problems recently? I’d be interested to know.

• Adding bottom fangs
• Engraving the back with a Tizer special
•Creating a custom bale
• Taking the pendant (& bale) to have a mold made
Finishing the Pendants:
•Collecting the castings
• Removing sprews and polishing
•Soldering bales onto each hoop
• Handing numbering each pendant
• Hallmarking drop off and collection
• Final mirror polish
• Delivery to Tizer

First time painting at Tottenham’s legal wall, despite living down the road for years!

Joined later by @annahitahessami and @ashleythecircle What a treat. I went back to tone down the neons so there’s two versions in the video. The updated one didn’t sting my eyeballs so that was good.

Cure Fan & friend @kolahari requested a ‘Show’ pendant.
Carving a font is challenging and fiddly. I was keen to give it a go. It broke half way through, although this made cleaning up inside the ‘o’ much easier. Luckily with wax (as long as you melt the entire join) it reconnects just fine.
