I tanquem il cIMIc 2026 amb @ibon_rg Dic. Espai Isern Dalmau, Barcelona 20h Dij. Cicle Cuir, Igualada, 20.30h Div. Espai EatArt, Banyoles, 20h Dis. Can Batet, Olot, 12h Dig. Jazz Cava de Vic, 19h ibonrg (Sestao, Biscaia, 1978) és actiu dins l’escena musical experimental del País Basc, tant com a improvisador i compositor com també com a organitzador, col·laborador i difusor. Participa i ha participaten nombrosos projectes al costat d’artistes com Garazi Navas, Enrike Hurtado o Miguel A. García, i de grups com Eten i Txaranga Urretabizkaia. És multiinstrumentista, però en els darrers anys la seva feina s’ha centrat gairebé exclusivament en la veu. NO US HO PERDEU!!

Based in Catalunya, they are currently one of the most important groups in free jazz and improvised music on the Iberian Peninsula. DUOT has performed in Spain, France, Belgium, the UK, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Iceland, the United States, and Russia. In 2012, they were awarded Best Group of the Year by the Catalan Association of Jazz and Modern Music Musicians (AMJM). They’ve released seven albums: “Duot” (2008), “Cactus” (2011), “Live at Jamboree” (2015), “Food” (2017) with guitarist Andy Moor, “Fe” (2019), “Duot with Strings” (2023) featuring the Zarm String Quartet, and “Haiku” (2025). 🔵 Peter Simpson is a musician who is most notably a member of the Minimal Synth band Circuit Breaker. He has often deputized in the noise rock group Action Beat, whilst they are on tour, as they happen to be from quite near to where he grew up. Upon moving to London nearly 20 years ago to be an art student, Peter fell in love with Free Improvisation, as a result of the myriad of regular nights on offer, and even had a go at promoting some gigs himself! Regrettably, its taken the interleaving decades for him to actually wrap his head around recording and performing in this particular modality. His intention is to make up for lost time.  Peter will be atoning for his ‘Rockist’ past with a set of impressionistic guitar abstraction. This evening will also be the (un)official release party for his album Guitar Solo, recorded with Two Ship’s Tullis Rennie, here in Hastings.

Hace un poquito mas de dos semanas los Duot fuimos a Madeira para conocer a Arantza, una pintora del mismo Bilbao, residente en Funchal, Madeira. El propósito, interpretar sus obras inspiradas en sus ataques de epilepsia. La propuesta era suficientemente estaña e interesante como para no dejarla escapar. Asi que contactamos con Francisco Andrade, (musico y agitador cultural de Madeira) para que nos organizara un par de conciertos en la isla y poder sufragar los gastos... Hace 20 años que damos volteretas per el mundo, pero esta, ha calado fondo! Sorpresas te da la vida! Gracias Aranzta pero confiar en nuestros ruidos i dejar que tus obras y tus historias sonaran en nuestras manos. Fue INCREÍBLE! Mil gracias! Nos vemos en la vernissage!! BESARKADA ERRALODI BAT! Tercera entrega del cIMIc!! Març 2026 Nuno Rebelo (guitarra) i Constanza Brnčić (dansa) Nuno Rebelo i Constanza Brnčić col.laboren desde fa uns anys en diversos treballs de creació escènica. L’interés que ambdós comparteixen per les músiques experimentals, la improvisació i el plaer pel joc performatiu, els ha portat a trobar-se en diferents ocasions i contextos per improvisar amb so i moviment. Aquesta setmana cIMIc amb @_luzprado !! Luz Prado (violí) Luz Prado (Màlaga, 1985) és música, violinista i performer. La seva obra parteix d’una convivència constant amb el violí i es planteja preguntes sobre la performativitat del so en l’àmbit escènic.
