✨ thank you, family ✨ I’m still feeling deeply held after this past weekend’s run of notes on building a foundation, 1963 at @calartsredcat New Original Works Festival Sharing this work, rooted in memory, legacy, and the stories we carry, was an honor and my ancestors showed up and showed out! To our badass team, @obehiagbede @iamitohane , truly an honor to work alongside you. Each day, I am in awe of your brilliance and what we built together (in a 5-hour tech day, no less) is stellar, magical, divine, and precious. And to know this is just the beginning… Everlasting gratitude to everyone who showed up, witnessed, and filled the room with such care, and for those who tuned in virtually.
