last march I had the privilege to spend a day onset and be in the opening scene of @bingliu89 ‘s intimate+moving film Preparation for the Next Life.
I’m grateful to @jv8inc for this opportunity, to spend the day w the other girls in the scene, and watch the filmmaking unfold during that day.

I felt like i was just fighting to survive for a lot of this year. i was fighting to live for myself, to heal, to figure out wt my values are and the balls to live by them, to not be pulled by all the different thoughts in my head, fighting to just figure out wt my next steps are. i didn’t imagine my life coming together in this way, and a lot of the things i held onto - ended up not happening or i ended up not pursuing. i guess trying to change for the better is hard, and i’ve been trying to grow to be more than all the hurt i’ve accumulated from these past few years.
so I’m going into 23 w a desire to appreciate everything i have, to honor everything i’ve been through, and a fear to not lose myself in the process. thanks for the people who’ve been here, and feel free to hmu if u are in nyc :)

a lot of work has been done on this, and even tho it’s not representative of my abilities now, it captured how lil celine felt a year and a half ago. i wrote this first as an apology, then rewrote it when i realized I shouldn’t be sorry for wanting to feel comfortable in my own environment. thanks everyone for all the love <3
