Hemipenes; The Embrace of Cloacal Desire music video streaming now on the liminal dread YouTube channel. The video is an ode to the campy music videos of the early 90's black metal scene. Taking influence from Masters Hammer and Immortal we take you on a rattlesnakes journey through copulation. Link in our bio and streaming wherever you listen to music. The hemipenes are the paired copulatory organs of squamates. These intromitta come in a variety of shapes and sizes and vary wildly between species. Often covered in spikes and hooks, it is believed that this ornamentation allows for longer and more successful reproduction. Interestingly studies regarding the female squamate intromittum have led to the discovery of the hemiclitoris, which is also variable between species, but research is still lacking in understanding these organs as most research is centered around the hemipenes instead. I didn't get to take a lot of photos at the event but huge thanks to everyone who came out Saturday! Black metal for Japanese giant salamanders was a huge success and we raised over $530 for @japanesegiantsalamanders I rounded up to $540 because I really love this cause and the animals. Huge thanks to @ecliptormetal who played their second show and played tighter than I'll ever play in my life. To @viserion_official for coming out from NYC and playing a killer set. Very nice to hear the new stuff live. @nogodspa killed it and even though no one moshed they definitely play the best moshing music I've ever heard. @nvnnery for opening and giving us a good bit of black metal/noise to start off the night. Also huge thanks to @ossuarychant and @megamacspa for bracing the cold and coming out to support the salamanders.@hellridertattoo also has flash for the event still. If you didn't grab a flashsheet at the show check her page! It was a great night and I loved that everyone seemed really interested in learning about the cause and the animals I had brought. On Saturday the 18th we have this massive event coming to @bonkstilclose We are excited to add @megamacspa to the vendor list. @hellridertattoo made some amazing event inspired flash tattoos that start at $120. We will have flyers for them at the event but be sure to contact her if you have any questions or want to make an appointment! Last but not least this is more than a show it's an educational event! Proceeds are being given to @japanesegiantsalamanders to help conserve one of the most unique species of animal in the world.
