Happy Mother's Day to my dear mom watching me every day up from the cosmos 🩷 Today marks 210 days since she has passed and each one of those days I have grieved and missed her terribly. As her online handle/nickname was Moondoll, I have always seen her as my personal moon watching over me so I am never lost in darkness and consider it much more to this day. Even now, some of her ashes remain in a necklace in the shape of a moon, which I've worn to every single gig I've played since her passing. Those that know me well may recall I do believe in the spirit world and always have. Not pagan, wiccan or practicing any religion but I've always held a belief in the supernatural and metaphysical. My mom has always been one to practice those beliefs, whether it has been Catholicism in her younger years or Wicca as she grew older. I've always admired it though I never chose to pick it up myself (though I did take a crash course in how to gather ritual items for a funeral pyre it came time for her cremation) When my partner and I purchased the house I felt no spiritual energy lurking within the walls and and her urn and ashes were one of the first items taken with me in the first moving truck. Every house I've lived in carried an energy whether what felt like old pets, previous owners, tenants, etc. So an empty house felt… relaxing but very unusual for me. The first night I slept there all alone (my love and I stayed at separate houses for two weeks) I felt a warm energy emerge in the house as I settled into bed and I knew from the very moment she made herself the house guardian for us. That moment felt like the first hug she gave me since before she lost mobility last June and was all the warmth I ever needed in that 50° night. Since then I know she's still being the best mom I could ever ask for. I love you mom, and I'm still serious about taking you to meet the koalas in the Australia Zoo 💚

From riff wizardry to tech wizardry, 12 hours apart 🔮 Rocking on a Sunday night always just turns to being sore as hell on a Monday morning fixing broken laptops and it's always worth it 🧙‍♂️ 📸1 : @bigdumbox_80 📸2 : @thrashtronaut666 Selfie: w/ a Dell & a can of Rehab at dawn

Hey y'all, sorry to lay down the sad news but I have decided to depart from @bastardcrossphl This was something building up and clouding my mind for a while. I decided I should end it on a high note and wrap it up with Nunslaughter a few weeks ago. I hold no ill quarrel with the guys and will always be grateful for the gigs we've shared together! It all comes down to my decision alone. Drama is the most common theme in this music scene, both in person and online. There is NO drama for me to share, sorry if you were expecting something worthy to send to the news outlets lol. I simply just don't have the motivation or creative drive to continue being in this band. I do have fun on stage, and that's pretty much it. Being on stage playing these songs live will be something I will greatly miss, but all stories do have an end. I am currently in the middle of big changes in my life which require so much of my time and money. Being in a band, let alone two, these days requires both of that same money and time… almost feels like a tug of war and also a game of chance. Being unable to dedicate much to this band on top of my mind not being in it just isn’t fair to them to be trying to book shows and tours ahead of time. I’m sure my departure will open many doors for all members involved and the four of us will be able to achieve greatness both in music and in our personal lives. With that said, I am beyond grateful for the time I’ve shared with the guys on the road, in the studio and of course on stage, both highs and lows. They took a chance on taking me into this band where prior to being with them my only experience as a musician was 4 live performances and singing on a small demo. I wish the rest of the lads the best, the Heathen Chevalier shall now go “into the Mausoleum” for rest ⚰️🥀

This is the life I've chosen and always adore those 20-50 minutes I'm on stage. The sensation of seeing people rattling their necks while I sweat through every article of clothing is such a boost to my psyche. 2025 was absolutely horrendous and I had to take a step back from music (and do the absolute bare minimum while a whole album release is happening) to focus on my well being and my own life, even though that itself crushed me even further. This weekend I returned to stage after a few months, debuting a song I wrote inspired by my late mother and witnessing the heads banging is the healing I need during my grief. Music and art is perhaps the most human thing that can exist and benefits our worlds so much. Don't let it change. Peace and love y'all, thank you everyone who has supported and continued to support what I do, whether it's @skullovich_official or @bastardcrossphl ⚔️ 📸: @culticband 's own Brian

Happy Winter Solstice everyone ☃️❄️🎄❄️ May everyone have a joyous holiday season, be kind to yourself in these trying times 🔮 Though I'm telling myself the spirit of the Holiday season cannot pass when those we love pass away, my grief has admittedly grown monumental. My mother encapsulated the spirit of Christmas and was maybe the most generous person I will ever know. With her passing 2 months ago (and her rapid decline from cancer back in June) I've found ways to process my grief through positive productivity...gathering family for brunch, taking a deep dive into her favorite music, taking time to learn more about her spiritual practices (wicca), just ways to feel like she'll be more a part of me when I'll physically never be able to see her again until my own time comes. Still though, sporadically it all hits at once, like now, seeing how it's the winter solstice and this will be my first Christmas without her. It's gonna sting really hard waking up Christmas morning without seeing her, but I refuse to let my grief ruin this holiday season. She wouldn't want me to be sad or be reclusive this season. Happy holidays everyone, and again, be kind to yourself and hold those you consider family close to you ❤️

Another vinyl record to add to my music portfolio! Very proud to have another LP under my belt, this time being the debut @bastardcrossphl full length album, due to release on Halloween! This project in particular has been a nice outlet to write goofy edgelord lyrics while making jabs at some particular menaces in society. One of my favorite songs on this one is heavily inspired by Resident Evil 4... Won't spoil it but it's obvious once ya read the lyrics. Can't wait to see how this fares with the world next month! 📸 @charitynieves_ As always thanks for the continued support!

I've been asked numerous occasions if and when the two bands would ever share the stage together and this is it! Also one of my last few live performances of the year, let's get whiplashed together 🗡️🧙‍♂️🦇🗡️ @bastardcrossphl x @skullovich_official = Castlevania: The Musical, let's dance!
