Blessed to have the privilege of writing and directing this piece for @ovmbrwrld , a debut across the board It was always going to take an extraordinary project for me to take the lead creatively, and my bros @mobmino & @ronkz.8 brought that exact project to me. Originally had no intention of directing this, but after the discovery call, putting together the treatment, writing the script & structuring what the shots should look like, the idea was very clear to me, It only made sense for me to take the directional lead. Given the subject matter, it was important to me to get a woman’s perspective to make it feel as authentic as possible. I want to give a special mention to @rurumatsitsiro for joining the project as a co-writer, appreciate your attention to detail on the dialogue and actions. Love to the cast & crew who without them, none of this would literally be possible. THE SUMMER THAT SAVED ME - @iamodeal Had a blast working on this project, built a full set of assets with visualisers and lyric videos, featuring some custom CD designs. Played around with colours and measurements on this one, really pushed the design muscles. Enjoyed putting this together and extending out the branding of this project into the visual assets.
