Tonight 6-9pm Moth Holes closing ceremony! Would like to say a Huge thank you to Artist Annabella Pfeifer for her invaluable help putting this show together and making it possible. Her work is up and is a must see! Annabella is a Sacramento raised multi-media artist based in Seattle, WA. Her work explores and meshes themes of the human body, the cerebral, and the colorfully hedonistic. She draws inspiration from her career as a registered nurse, delving deep into the human experience in an attempt to express and understand it. She has recently been drawn to the world of textiles and strives to work primarily with used materials - with a focus on scrap fabrics and flea market gems - to explore new realms of creativity.  Thank you Belly!!! @aapfeifer

Tomorrow 6-9pm at Common objects come see work by Cam Smith!!!     •    I’m a Seattle based new media artist who creates interactive and immersive artwork that raises questions about the role of surveillance technology in society. Before my art career I was a data scientist working in Silicon Valley. And before that I studied psychology and linguistics. My interest in quipu grew out of a deeper curiosity about the limitations and possibilities of human writing systems, motivated by the suspicion that there are still practical systems of communication that have not yet been invented. So I invented one! @camoverride

This Friday 6/6 a glimpse into the world of textiles at Common Objects! Come see work by Lucy Adams! Lucy Adams is an arts programmer living in Seattle, WA. She likes to make paintings, but due to space constraints she started making creatures which she calls “elves” out of cardboard, model magic, and found textiles. The elves challenge the boundaries between human and animal, familiar and alien, and meticulous and amateur. Lucy is interested in abnormality, alienation, cyborgs, craft traditions, and finding humor during crisis. She does ceramics and tattoos on the side. @lewsy.adums

Our closing reception will be held this Friday 6/6 from 6-9pm come see work by artist Kri Yamada! Kri Yamada is a visual artist, writer, facilitator and global fashion creative. Her creative praxis explores themes of identity, spirit, ecologies of relation and non-linear time as invitations to deeper meaning, connection and belonging. Yamada’s work is grounded in the paradox of re-integrating fragmented pieces of self, while releasing the notion of “self” altogether. @kriyamada.art / @kriyamada Photo credit: @simbarashecha
