I am so stinkin' stoked to finally be able to share a project that has consumed much of my life recently! Huge thanks to Diana Valerie and @bernhardtviolins for entrusting me with this project, and a big shoutout to @shama4realz (who's voice will be echoing throughout my dreams for the foreseeable future).

Spent my free time today messing around with a possible workflow for a future project. Wanted to see how fast I could goâspent about 3 hours animating/drawing in Procreate, and then about an hour compositing in After Effects. Not too shabby!đ

I should also note that it took about the same amount of time for the archaic MacBook to export the final⌠time to save up for an upgrade.

A lilâ belated "May the Fourth" action. When I was a kid, I thought the Jedi were cool and all with their lightsabers and force powers, but who I really wanted to be was Han Solo. I mean, he had the slick ride, the girl, the furry best friendâwhatâs not to like?

My mom would regularly lock me outside of the house so I would "burn off my energy." An avid daydreamer, I found myself constantly imagining myself in the smugglerâs shoes, and my dog Plato playing part of the Wookiee.
Happy Sunday! A little over 6 months ago, @shama4realz reached out to ask if I wanted to animate an intro for a YouTube series he and @johnbcrist were putting together ("First Time Visitor"). I was stoked that he thought of me, and immediately said yes! I never got around to posting it at the time the videos came out, but thought itâd be fun show a side by side of the storyboard and final comp (I adjusted the animaticâs timing slightly to flow better with final)!
