From nature to fashion... Welcome to Calcul, where we blend sustainability with style, one thoughtful stitch at a time. At Calcul, our mission is to reduce the impact of fast fashion. We lovingly upcycle second-hand fabrics and use natural dyes like turmeric, sorghum leaves, and onion peels. Every piece is a labor of love and respect for our planet. Our journey with natural dyes has been a roller coaster of emotions—marked by trials, failures, and incredible successes. One of our proudest moments? Discovering the beauty of sorghum leaves, known locally as ‘Waakye’, to create stunning, sustainable fabrics. Every piece we create reflects our values. We pour our hearts into crafting designs that are unique and comfortable. Meet ‘Habo’—our latest creation, where tradition meets modernity in perfect harmony. From natural elements to wearable art, come see the magic of our new creation the ‘Habo’ in every stitch, every fold, and every detail at the @printemps in Paris from June 14 - 16th for the L’Atelier Des Ade3yie exhibition by @theorispresent @ifmparis Join us on this journey. Together, we can make eco-friendly fashion a reality. Thank you for being part of our story. Calcul Studios was featured by Eco Age @ecoage on @lagosfashionweekofficial 2025, a moment that still sits deeply with us. It wasn’t just about being seen, but about being part of a movement redefining fashion from the ground up. From Kantamanto’s second-hand textiles to natural dyes drawn from everyday elements, our work continues to explore what responsible design can look and feel like. Grateful to be among a generation of designers proving that sustainability is the future. Thank you @theorispresent for having us on the show. #CalculStudios #LagosFashionWeek #SustainableFashion #Upcycling #AfricanFashion SlowFashion

Moments worth holding onto from @kwetu_kwanza_ug 2025. Being part of this was truly special. Creating space for upcycling and sustainable brands like @_calcul to exhibit, sell, and connect is something that deserves recognition. The intentional collaborations and partnerships made it possible for creatives to gain real exposure and meet the right audience—proof of a genuine commitment to sustaining these brands. From the setup to the conversations and performances, @kwetu_kwanza_ug 2025 was a powerful reflection of sustainable African fashion and culture. Grateful to @theorispresent and @kofibrother for making it happen for @_calcul
