men’s week notes and favs (things i’d steal): dries...my god. the layering! the colors! the prints! the hair at dior! the sauce is in the details the hair at rick!!! there is a 10 magazine video of rick having a blast spray painting the black spots in the model’s hair which for me exists in contrast with that video of jonathan crying with relief backstage at dior last year. independent king, on top of his game, unbothered. straight to my vision board. influencer tony ozkan walking Armani. nice. menswear influencers kind of ruined ralph for me but loved seeing someone mix gorp with classic in a way that actually looks good. sacai!!! hermes on another level LV house content (not pictures) is funny, especially those pics of people climbing into the tub. wish LV client wasn’t sooooooo boring so that the set designers could have had more fun

This week’s newsletter is my best attempt at figuring out why, despite the constant fight for less screen time, we seem to be poring more and more time and money into smartphone accessories and modifications. We are talking bespoke phone cases, Flip Phones, and (literally) chaining an iPhone to a wall. Exclusively at viksbusycorner dot com or on your inbox (where it should be!!)

Exclusively at viksbusycorner dot com or in your inbox (where it should be!!)

not to drag us back into the merch discourse but it’s interesting how it might have died as an individualistic way to express how quirky and special you are and reincarnated as an activism tool that brings people together again

This week’s newsletter is my best attempt at making sense of all the whimsy moments that are flooding pop culture - both delightfully playful and grossly commercial. Exclusively at viksbusycorner dot com or in your inbox (where it should be!!) Might get in a bit of a trouble for this one, we shall see

not sure what to say about this week’s newsletter besides this quote someone left in the comments: “literature is fetishized for its ability to take educated people on false emotional journeys, so they might afterwards feel superior to the uneducated people whose emotional journey they like to read about” exclusively at viksbusycorner dot come or in your inbox (where it should be!!)
