A powerful documentary I worked on as cinematographer and editor is playing today at the @adventuresci  in Nashville. The film tells the inspiring journey of @drejahangir , the first Iranian-American man to travel to space and is part of the unveiling of a new exhibit featuring Dr. Jahangir’s flight suit from his mission to space. One of the things I have been doing lately is producing a podcast for @nashvillescene featuring our 2 amazing co-hosts @jeromelmoore and @dpatrickrodgers .

Been fortunate to collaborate with @theloveinband for multiple music videos and photo shoots. Filmed, edited and co-directed with @dianawking on this “Revel” music video back in May 2023. I can’t believe how much our 3 person crew including @derekkozak accomplished in six hours. I’ve seen full crews get less done in 12.

When we moved to Nashville in 2019, Diana and I decided to team up and start our own company called Kevin & King so that we could work more projects together. 2023 was one of our busiest photo years and we got to experience it with our baby who got to travel with us from 8 months to 20 months old to all the different cities for our jobs. There was a LOT of tears, sweat and sleep deprivation happening while hauling, pushing, and carrying a ton of photo equipment, luggage, and baby gear. Somehow we did it and we were able to create the amount of work that we did. Best of all, we never missed out on witnessing all the amazing milestones our baby went through, from turning 1, saying his first words, and taking his first steps.
