It’s been almost 3 years since Rabit’s last visit to Columbus and to say he’s been hard at work would be an understatement. Releasing 2 full length albums among a host of EPs and mixtapes while pushing his label Halcyon Veil to be one of the most influential and prolific labels of the decade, not to mention working with Björk on her most recent GRAMMY NOMINATED album “Utopia”. Rabit’s sound has changed drastically over the years, shifting between iced out heavy hitting grime instrumentals, to mind melting walls of noise, and everything in between. His sets always surprise, but never disappoints.
Joining Rabit behind the decks and on the stage will be House of KENZO/Halcyon veil’s very own LEDEF. Known for her mind bending sets which incorporate sonic elements of everything from ballroom to metal while fusing performance elements drawing from vogue, traditional African dance, and many others. We’re incredibly excited to be blessed by her presence and can’t wait to see what she has in store.
