DĂN is the alias of Brandon Smith, DJ and Producer from Columbus, Ohio. Since high school, Brandon has been deeply invested in all forms of electronic music and the subcultures surrounding. Starting with dubstep and branching all the way out to hardcore jungle/breakcore, Brandon has heard and mixed just about any sound the computer can make.
Now currently, operating as DĂN, Brandon has delved deeper into the darker and experimental side of club, techno and Baile Funk music. Of course, this isn't all you can expect from one of his sets, as a former trap and footwork DJ. At any show he's playing, DĂN is sure to push the boundaries of what is accepted in the dance music space...well as far his promoter will let him.
