I'm leaving Instagram.
This is something I've wanted to do for a while, just haven't done it till now. I've been fed up on here for a long time. I've had this account for 6 years. I started it in covid, over an assignment in high school. I enjoyed it right away and was excited for my journey in toy photography on here with the community. I had no idea there were others like me. I was excited to get my work out there for people to see. But for me to only have 693 followers since then, just doesn't make sense. And that's a slow crawl that's always fluctuating. I've said it before that I'm not one to chase followers and views, but this just doesn't add up. I've tried the various posting methods with reels, keeping up with trends, posting on stories, but nothing works for me. Aside from that part, the toy community isn't what I'd hope to be anymore. I've tried interacting with the community and the collabs, but even that gets me nowhere. To those that have interacted with me, thank you.
Also, there's so much news and junk going on in the world today, it has fried my brain and I am tired of it. So my departure is also for the sake of my mental health. I could go on about more distressing things on here but it'd take forever. I'm not sure when and if I'll be back, but I won't delete this account. I'll still continue to enjoy toys, photography and all things nerdy, just won't be posting about it. If you want to chat or see about my latest photos, you can reach me at my email;
[email protected]. I'll still try to upload photos to my Redbubble shop and might add more links to other shops, but I'll be going M.I.A. on all my socials. Thanks again to those that stuck with me, I really appreciate it. I'm sorry to those people, but this is something I need to do.
See ya later! 👋
