Happy Birthday to George Lucas — the man who created a galaxy far far away that became home for so many of us.
Star Wars has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. The characters, the worlds, the music, the stories… they all shaped my imagination in ways I’ll probably never be able to explain. Even now, through toy photography, I still find myself reconnecting with that same feeling I had as a kid staring at a lightsaber on screen for the first time or playing the original Battlefront II with my older siblings.
So much of modern filmmaking — from visual effects to sound design to the way blockbuster stories are told — wouldn’t look the way it does today without George’s imagination and willingness to push boundaries. His influence is everywhere, whether people realize it or not.
This shot is just a small silly way of me expressing my gratitude to someone whose work inspired generations of storytellers and dreamers like myself. May the Force always be with him.🙏❤️
