Another day, another design from the 2022 FBS Mystery Pack. 🥳 A major part of this project is to give smaller #fingerboard brands and projects a space to be recognized by a larger part of the international #fingerboardcommunity . Design 5/18 of the 2022 FBS Mystery Pack is a pretty unique project in the #fingerboardscene run by an elementary school art teacher. Let’s hear from Brendan @_boxedlunch_ : "Boxed Lunch represents a concept, not a brand. The concept revolves around the niche fingerboarding community and all the individuals who have and will continue to contribute to it. Over the last sixteen plus years of being part of the fingerboarding community, I feel as though it is my time to give back. Giving back allows others to experience and enjoy things they might not have been able to. I teach art in an inner-city elementary school where 100% of students qualify for free lunch. These students walk into the art room looking for fun and creative ways to express themselves. With funding for the arts dwindling, supplies for my art classroom are limited. Much needed supplies include basic materials such as markers, glue sticks, and erasers. However, this would also include items my students and I do not usually have the opportunity to use, like clay and paint. The money collected from each fingerboard sale will go back into my art classroom, directly into the hands of the students.
