Life lately...
June 2025 has been a rollercoaster of emotions.
Ladies and gentlemen, my 15th intake as a screenwriting tutor.
With every intake, a part of me parts with them and a part of them remains with me.
I don't know how much of me I can part away with. 😔
Last day of class is always a moment of raw emotion and I had to comply even though I was heavy on medication.
As always, "the show must go on!"

March 2025 was a breath of fresh air!
Slides 1 and 2 had me conclude class with my 14th Intake as a screenwriting tutor. You'll think I'd have mastered the art of missing my students, I guess I haven't.
Slides 3 to 5 had me hangout with my favourite screenwriters @adepejusalami_ , @uwadokauloma , @kingdawn.nte , and @torytela_ at @writershangout.hq screenwriters and Producers speed date.
Slide 6, I met the amazing @jamesomokwe , who was kind enough to share from his wealth of experience.
I also had the privilege to learn from @wingonia_ikpi and @omotundeomojola .
Filmmaking as always is a collaborative effort.

MEET OUR FACILITATOR
We’re excited to introduce Bola, a seasoned screenwriter and creative professional with over a decade of experience across multiple facets of film and television production.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from Redeemer’s University and a Master’s degree in Creative Arts (Dramatic Theory and Criticism) from the University of Lagos.
Over the years, Bola has worked as a scriptwriter, production manager, subtitler, quality control expert, and more—bringing a well-rounded understanding of the filmmaking process.
Currently a screenwriting tutor at the EbonyLife Creative Academy (ELCA), he has spent over four years mentoring aspiring writers, guiding them from idea development to shooting scripts. Known as a “story doctor,” Bola is passionate about helping creatives discover their unique voice and strongly believes that structure is the key to globally celebrated storytelling.

Late post...
Most days, I'm the teacher.
But from the 10th to 14th of November, I took my seat to learn from one of the best to ever do it, @naijawriter , my former HOD.
In his simplistic and sarcastic manner, Yinka Ogun taught and I did learn, unlearn and relearn.
Now more than ever, I'm eager to resume on a television series.

For Reaktor and for glory!
Writing a script for @reaktornigeria wasn't on my list for the year.
A couple of months ago, @bella_cruise@_ash_media and I were selected after pitching our story idea that would best sell the Reaktor Energy Drink brand.
@bella_cruise came with the energy and @_ash_media with numerous ideas and me, I was the ready pen to script the story. And all through the process, we intended to tell the story of the average Nigerian, desirous to break the limit.
We pitched, got selected, and as they say, the rest is history.
Our project, #pushandstart is ready. You'll love it.
