Half a million dollars⌠let that sink in.
$500,000+ donated by a community that refuses to forget the families behind the badge.
Every dollar tells a storyâof sacrifice, resilience, and a promise that no officerâs family stands alone.
This isnât just a number.
Itâs impact. Itâs healing. Itâs hope.
And weâre just getting started. đ
It was our privilege and honor to sponsor a Honor Chair for Sgt David Cajuso of the @miamibeachpd . Big shoutout to @saving_a_heros_place for creating a beautiful memorial chair that the Cajuso family will see forever.
Heroes are never forgotten!
Last night at the Miami Beach Police Department we came together to package 2,500 memorial T-shirts in honor of Officer David Cajuso.
â˘
This was more than a task â it was love, service, remembrance, and community in motion.
â˘
@09_apparel worked diligently to design and produce these shirts. @teamsouthflorida volunteers arrived to assist in these efforts. @miamibeachfop personnel collaborated in these efforts and assisted with personnel on site; from cadets, to trainees, to personnel around the station. @2m_print donated printed goods to be placed inside every bag.
Our board members traveled to Washington DC to stand beside surviving families during National Police Week. A sentimental and heartfelt week, honoring our fallen heroes đ From a vendor booth, to hosting a South Florida Meetup, partaking in the COPS Blue Honor Gala and experiencing the roll call of honor on the nations capitol grounds.
Tragedy struck two of our own. Officer Mike Pettee of the Key West Police Department and Monroe County Sheriffâs Office Deputy Tiffany Rodda lost their home in a devastating house fire.
Mike and Tiffany jumped out of a window to escape the fire and suffered second-degree burns and were flown to Miami for emergency medical treatment. While they survived, their beloved two dogs tragically did not make it out of the fire.
They lost all of their belongings, clothing, personal items, and the sense of security every family deserves.
đ All proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to the family to assist with rebuilding efforts.
