Here is a visualization I was working on towards the Christmas celebration – but I completed it about a week ago, so I’m now able to share it. It shows the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies about the birth of Jesus Christ in the New Testament. I was specifically interested in the topic because of the euphoria that characterizes modern-day Christmas festivities. A lot of it is just secular with zero reference to the Birthday Boy himself. This is my attempt to draw attention back to the reason for the season. There were numerous prophecies in the Old Testament pointing to the birth of this one individual and how they all come together in the mysteries surrounding the birth of Jesus is outstanding. Now, if you are a student of biblical prophecies, you know there is a somewhat sub-genre called Messianic prophecies. I didn’t focus on Messianic prophecies as a full scope, but only prophecies that deal with the birth of the Messiah. Follow the link in my bio to get the full story on my blog (elisabblah.com) and also to have access to the interactive version of the visualization. With that you can especially check out the links between the green and red nodes (in the Sankey chart) to reveal more useful information. Once you hover your pointer over each green link, it reveals the following: the name of the Prophet, the exact Old Testament reference where the prophecy is recorded, the theme of the prophecy, the New Testament book in which it is fulfilled, and then the exact New Testament reference. #bibledatastories #dataapologetics #datafam #bible #Jesus

Before He formed me in the womb, He knew me. He knew the trajectory of my life. He knew I'd meet a wonderful man. He knew He'd give us a wonderful life. Not devoid of challenges, but with God, what is impossible? Believe in God, Believe in Love, Believe in Miracles. #Believe2023 #Believe23 Jesus did this. @eli_sabblah ❤️

I don't recall at what point it was in my life that I realised that my hospital experiences were very different from the average person. For a couple of years now, maybe 7 (that's as far as I can remember), my trips to the hospital have been anything but brief. I scarcely return home the same day. I'm almost always sent to the ward or detained. In the years of 2015/2016, I frequented one hospital so much so that the nurses (of different shifts) knew my preferred ward. So whenever a doctor asked that I be kept in the hospital, they'd check if my 'favourite' ward was available. That's how bad it was. For years now, my hospital experiences have been crazy. So much so that when my sister mentioned her surname at a hospital (a different one from the one earlier mentioned), she was asked if Beulah is her sister. God healed me of a condition in 2017. Doctors in Ghana and medical practitioners outside Ghana couldn't figure out what it was. I was a 'trial-and-error' patient. But God. I decided to use this reference point. At the beginning of 2022, one thing I was firm on was the fact that I was not going to be detained or kept in a hospital ward. I declared it, I prayed it, I was taking back my money and my health - I refused to be a regular at a hospital and I had people standing in agreement with me (Ewuraba and Eli, thank you!). November/December 2021 was the last time I was admitted into a hospital. When I say that Jesus did it ! When I say that I have been kept ! When I say that 2022 was a hospital-detention-free year !!!! When I say that this is my new norm!! Thank you Lord ! Come and join me sing Hallelujah! Jehovah has done me well!!

As we commemorate the death of Christ today, let us not forget what happened 3 days after His death. When situations seem dire and hopeless hold on to God and believe that He has a plan. When it looks like evil is thriving, remember good ALWAYS triumphs over evil. They don't know the aftermath and that's why they rejoice in their seeming victories. In spite of what it may look like and how long it may be, there will be a resurrection and the glory of the Lord will be seen. Hold on to God, it may not be three days for you, but victory will surely come. To a Good Friday 🙏🏾

At the beginning of 2021 I said to satan not only privately but publicly also " m3n try" !  If I tell you he tried 😂😂 2021 was a year. Gut sinking, valley deep  attempted low lows and ecstatic miraculous highs. I realised that the lows were very far from what I thought they were, and in God's kindness towards me, I learnt many things. About myself, about others, about satan, about God.  One lesson was that satan can try, but before he starts he's already failed.  Victory was won for me years ago and so no matter how many times he tries or how skilled and tested and trusted his weapons may be I can say one thing with boldness - he has lost, he has failed and if I enforce it, he cannot change that.  He'll attempt nonetheless and we must stand our ground and disallow him from having his way. As we thrive this year, let us not forget we are victors in ALL THINGS through Christ Jesus! (All things means all things!) But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory [as conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57 AMP Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. Romans 8:37 AMP Glory Hallelujah!

Look at God's baby girl. He accepts me into His fold, into His arms. "Obaatan pa!" Never has He turned away from me, never has He rejected me. He is always there. Always. So true to His word. • He loves me so much. Even when I knew Him not, He poured out His love on me. All on me. And my coming to Him didn't cause it to cease - He still loves me so so much. Talk about consistency! • I am chosen. As in, the Creator of the universe hand-picked me, fashioned not just my person but also my good good story and ending even before He brought me into being. He chose and chooses me. He says "baby girl, trust Me, walk My path, I am with you always, be strong, fear not" • I am blessed ! I am blessed ! With spiritual blessings (enie physical no dier! ) I am blessed by my Father who is copious in mercy, rich in all things , whose streets are paved with gold. • He has redeemed me, bought with precious precious unblemished untainted blood - free from sin, from shame, from guilt, from disease, from it all. • He has sealed me with the Holy Ghost! Held my hand and led me not only into a place, but also to a person of intimacy and of power. Whoosh!!!💃🏾 Now tell me, what? And who dare stand against the Lord and His baby girl 😊.

It's only the author of an unpublished book who knows how the story goes, what happens to the character at varying points in time and how the story should go. Unless the author shares sections of it with people, of course. • God had me study on discipline last year. He knew how much I'd need it this year. And that I'd need to refer to Scripture, to things revealed through the study to keep me going. • Listen to God. He knows much more than you think you do, and He's willing to prepare you ahead of time, if you'd let Him.

On July 16, 2021 I was a part of those who had joined in @dunsinoyekan 's Upper Room,a weekly virtual and in person worship session. As we were worshipping, God began to speak to me about trust. Interestingly and as amazing as God is, the songs being sang began to tow this line. Dunsin then raised a song "Jesus, Jesus, how I love calling Your name, Jesus, Jesus, everyday,Your name is the same". As we repeatedly sang this song it hit me. "Everyday, His name is the same". At every moment, and at every time; 1. When I call Him the response will never change. He will always respond to my call. Always. 2. The potency, the effect that I know calling on Him will result in never changes. It never changes. Have you ever tried reaching someone who almost always picks up your call at a time that's very important and they are just not picking up? Not because they don't want to, or out of malice, but because they are honestly and truly occupied at that moment and cannot respond to you. Sometimes they pick up and let you know they cannot engage with you at that moment. It could be parents, siblings, loved ones, etc. But not Jesus. Everyday, at every moment, we are absolutely certain and absolutely sure of a response. How wonderful is that ?!! And there's more! The glory, the power, the strength that His name provides is not available only at certain moments, it does not diminish with time or frequency, it does not have a 99% chance of success. Whenever we mention the name Jesus, His fullness is available! Let's take this example, someone visits a place for 'powers' to make them disappear or bulletproof when they go on robbery sprees and happen to encounter the police. How many times have we heard stories of people whose charms worked for years and just stopped working one day? Just like that. The power of calling on that god or charm just diminished. But not our God ! Not our God ! The power, the strength, the glory, the comfort, the deliverance, the peace, the joy in the name of Jesus is at every moment, in every way, in all places the same. Glory Hallelujah! P. S. Do share in the comments songs that resonate with this piece. Mine (some 😊) are in the slides.
