Here is what the media isn’t showing: tons of people gathering together with brooms and shovels in hand all cleaning up so fast that you can hardly find a place to clean, bringing extra masks and gloves for those in need, starting food shelves full of groceries, toiletries, garbage bags, and peacefully standing in solidarity together. I saw peace all day today. This is what they aren’t showing. Minneapolis is strong. This community is strong. The fight is strong. Rest In Peace George Floyd, you are remembered.
