Some of my most satisfying show work w/ @humanprsn has been working on the @letigreworld shows - first at @thisaintnopicnic in ‘22 then for their ‘23 world tour. Most of the content was filmed and directed by @mskathleenhanna , plus a piece by @wynnegreenwood for Hot Topic, k8 Hardy for Les & Ray, and a stop motion set piece designed by the band and shot at hp hq w/ @ianvalentine__ & @natasha.abdul ! Editing and some supplemental content pieces by myself. It’s very special to work on something with such a clear sense of identity and purpose. Compared w/ most shows this one has a totally refreshing visual language w/ emphasis on DIY craft and textiles. The whole show was also captioned, showcasing their incredible lyrics and making the experience more accessible - a sadly underexplored aspect of show design.

I was super happy to assist @momentfactorymusic with @phoebebridgers ‘22 shows - a slightly different gig as the show was largely built when I came on board and was really just filling some small content gaps and adding final touches to existing looks 😊 Much of the show was anchored by a beautiful pop-up-book/indie-crafts set extension by @burntshapes , @soundandvisionco and @chris_riddell illustrations. Here’s some clips from the @wearesachi ‘21 shows - my first project w/ @humanprsn and still one my favs! This was an exercise in folding a lot of different tools into one coherent visual style - some blender, touchdesigner, aftereffects, my beloved @vsynth74 - all rendered in a flat, illustrative & textured style. I’ve acquired a lot more methods since to emulate this kind of faux-2d-print look, but this where I started!
