Over the next few weeks we will be sharing some of the beautiful work created by our Balance participants from @weenthunga Nyarrn-gakgo Mangkie program. These works were exhibited earlier this year at Brunswick Street Gallery alongside a community gathering where we came together over art and food. Balance explored art as cultural practice as a strengthening factor for wellbeing. ✨ Thank you to all of our artists for their beautiful work!

Earlier this year we partnered with @weenthunga and their Nyarrn-gakgo mangkie program to deliver our pilot program - Balance. Balance was an opportunity to use art as cultural practice to explore boundary setting and how social and cultural connection are strengthening factors for our wellbeing. The program culminated in a community celebration and exhibition @brunswickstreetgallery with artists, friends and family. It was a beautiful coming together and so exciting to see everyone’s work up on the gallery walls! Over the next couple of weeks we’ll be sharing some more of the beautiful work created in this program. We’ll be running Balance again soon so if you’re mob, live in Melbourne and work in healthcare - nominate your workplace by sending us an email: [email protected]
