We will be presenting a curated selection of short films by local and international talent, all sharing a central theme of youth, identity and ones exploration of their individual diaspora. so exactly a month ago (wtf already!) @rne.e & I got to screen our short film @concrete.the.film at @pleasuresplayhouse.xo to the most beautiful crowd! Not only seeing it on the (very) big screen but having so so many people turn up (we had a queue down the street🤯) was just the most heart-warming experience This was really a combined effort of so SO many people - it really takes a fuckin village to raise a film baby. making films is prohibitively expensive, way too much work and at this level, basically relies on the goodwill of people around you to see it come to life. so many amazing people lent their time and skills to some silly little project of ours and turned it into something unfathomable and majestic. hug a crew member today. cause they keeping this art alive. so you won't be able to see CONCRETE for a hot minute while we enter into festivals and the like BUT it will be available for you soon enough so stay postedddd so much love for everyone who was a part of this or even just came to see it💞💞 📸 & 📹 - @mimi.casting 📸 - @charlotte.macs
