Our new story looks at Gourmega, the first New York project by @mariamissoufou_architects . Best known for her work in Niger, Mariam Issoufou has built an international reputation for projects that respond to climate, culture and the people who use them.
Run by Ghetto Gastro, Gourmega is a small zero-waste restaurant in Manhattan with a big ambition: creating a space that brings people together while also supporting the local community through a partnership with Rethink Food.
The article explores the thinking behind the design, from the materials and furniture to the history of the neighbourhood itself.

@tippingpointeast (TPE), the UK’s first Climate Futures Centre, unites @resolvecollective , @yesmakeldn and @material_cultures and creates a space to store, process and redistribute reclaimed materials.
