Support Your Local Collective & Noreman Foreman are proud to present Ebb this Friday in Tāmaki Makaurau at Neck Of The Woods!
The badman from Ōtautahi is making his long awaited return to the city of sails, stacked with a bag full of the freshest tunes from around the global scene and a forthcoming EP on @1985music for our listening pleasure... there ain’t a better way to get a preview than on the Ghost System! Guy is certainly one heck of a producer, with releases across some of our favourite labels in dance music - both domestically and internationally - but if you haven’t caught a set of his yet, he’s equally talented behind the decks bringing a free party energy to the club: think the darkest sounds in Dubstep mixed into thrashing Tekno. We are sure you’ll be leaving amazed from this set. Also, this will be the last chance to catch him here for a while as @ebb_nz long awaited European debut is on the horizon.
Get down early and stay late as Guy’s set is certainly not all! On support are some of the finest crews from across the nation bringing their A Team to throw down: Anti Dawn, Noreman Foreman & SYLC – all around, a dope showcase of top talent in our local scene. Each of the crews and Guy will be playing hour and half sets to display their wicked sounds from 10PM - 4AM.
Tickets are up for grabs now on Humanitix and they can be found in the usual place!
See you Friday,

Antidawn, @pdc.sound.system , @supportyourlocal.collective , @phys_ed_religious , @pddck.aotearoa , @structurallyunsoundmusic and friends are coming together to create a local music production and visual art exhibition for the December edition of First Thursdays on Karangahape Road.
We've noticed how difficult it can be to foster a sense of community when everyone's only hanging out in super-loud clubs. We're all always seeing the same people at gigs yet never get enough of an opportunity to really get to know them. We also know how many sick tracks, gorgeous artworks, and rare records are floating around the unseen depths of harddrive folders, cluttered desks, and dusty garages... So, we thought it was time to showcase some of the talent from our community of artists in a space that facilitates social connection.
This will be an all local line up of Tāmaki producers playing 100% original tunes on the Pekapeka soundsystem. Think couches, plants, big windows and daylight, music you may not hear elsewhere, soundsystem tuned well and running at a talking friendly volume, friends with records to swap and sell, merch tables and a Scud Rat pop-up. @thebuttonfactorynz is helping us out by providing their highly cosy venue space. They will also have some non-alc drinks and pies available at their bar.
It’s best to bring cash for the market tables, you can also bring records to swap. Looking forward to hanging out with all of you!
P.s. If you wanna get involved this time (or for future events), let us know!

On December 9th, the trilateral efforts of antidawn, @pdc.sound.system , and @supportyourlocal.collective will come to fruition. The inimitable Hebbe will be playing his first Tāmaki gig at @themothershipnz on a soundsystem augmented by the now classic PDC rig. With support in the form of crew takeovers from each of us, this is not a special occasion you will want to miss.
R.U.S.T.Y emerges at last. After experiencing antidawn [var.01], he has carefully selected tonight as the correct time and place to unfold his array of UKG, 2-step and dubstep for the first time on a Tāmaki dancefloor. Crucially, one flanked by a soundsystem murky enough to deliver the proper experience...
Be present for the first of many of JP's sets tonight from 10-4 at Whammy Backroom. $10 on the door or tickets from UTR.

Making her debut in 2021, Nito has been flexing her refined selections at festivals such as Northern Bass and Shipwrecked, whilst opening for countless international artists. With a distinctive ear and her classic nonchalant approach, we're looking forward to Nito bringing soundscapes of the deeper, classier and more tasteful cadence to Antidawn.

Denizens of Tāmaki with a sense of the lay of the land will already be familiar with D-Low...
Tyler's tastes were initially honed via exposure to the moody sonics of metal and blues. This precipitated the natural transition to a symbiosis between the darker end of 140 and D-Low's signature dub overtones. His sets have become staple across festivals and clubs all over Aotearoa, it goes without saying that we're curious to see what he comes up with on the 20th.
