2020 has been crazy but in the midst God has shown His grace yet again.
Prior to all the Covid craziness, Desmond and I were able to have a beautiful engagement party with all of our close family last December, little did they know we got married a month prior.
Not wanting to shock everyone when our families were first meeting, we decided to keep it under wraps and said we’d tell everyone at the wedding next year.
But then COVID hit and our wedding plans were up in the air.
We went back and forth on sharing our marriage (mainly b/c I’m extremely private) but sometimes God just makes you do it.
With getting on the platform at church, doing our 5am prayers and figuring out how to introduce ourselves in a new city it wasn’t hard to guess that we were married.
All I can say is don’t hold back b/c things aren’t the way YOU envisioned them, keep pushing forward with honoring God and He will show out!
Despite what’s going on in the world, this first year of marriage has been more than I could’ve ever imagined.

Got a car and got away for a weekend to reflect on how God has shown out. Coming up on a year living in California and despite the situation, I can’t help but still feel amazed at how much has changed. I’ll spare y’all the details but just know prayer, praise, and reading the Word will change ya life.
Let me tell you about how my now FIANCÉ planned one of the best days of my life ❗️❗️❗️It started with a beautiful helicopter ride to kick off our 3 year anniversary. Next he took me to various destinations that recreated our first month anniversary date with the final destination being the sunset cruise where we took our first picture together as a couple. Little did I know the cruise this time was full of actors staged there just for our special moment. As we’re enjoying the cruise there’s a photographer there taking candid photos of us leading up to that moment. With such an elaborate day so far my anxiety is going crazy feeling the moment might be happening at anytime. Knowing this he already knew how to take my mind off of it by putting me in my competitive mode. He planned a couples game that consisted of picking a random object out of a cup and drawing it blindfolded. Determined to win my mind was focused on drawing this damn dolphin I picked out this cup 🙄. I gave it back to him to guess he responded “seagull”; I was pissed! He returned the clipboard and I took my blindfold off to everyone standing around us, him on one knee and to my surprise a new drawing saying “will you marry me?” Y’all I can’t describe the surprise, joy, excitement, and 100+ emotions rushing to my body at that moment. All I could say was YES ❗️
Words cannot describe how I feel about you, about us, about THIS! I’m so blessed to have found someone like you and that God loved me enough to make you just for me. I can’t wait to start this journey with you my love ❤️ #PresentingthePresseys
