Thrilled to finally announce that this year I'm supported by
@Immersivearts_uk to continue my research and experimental work on Limehouse.
Limehouse Déjà Vu is a 9-month R&D project exploring immersive technologies — AR/XR and immersive performance — to imagine urban pasts/futures rooted in little-known narratives, and our creative agency within them.
Ever since we moved to Limehouse in 2018, I've been fascinated by its historical complexities and present-day echoes (& muteness), wondering about the things we can or cannot see, and the sounds we can or cannot hear. After several years of on-and-off research and experimentation, and an artist residency at the wonderful
@towerhamletsarchives last year — friends and family, there will be MORE Limehouse this year :D
I'm also very excited about working with Amin Haghpanah (
@_aminhp ), creative technologist and artist, on the XR development, with more collaborations and connections to come along the way.
