Bits of our time in the studio. What a joyful time it was - to be creating music with the help of one of my guitar heroes, Bang @rickysiahaan .
I hope you felt how much we value your gaze and support for us. Having your stamp of approval gave our band a chance to truly thrive. It means the world to have that connection with you and to be connected to you through our shared love of music. The past week has made me realize how much hearts you’ve touched with your humility and kindness. Your legacy is more than just your music, even though that is more than enough, you also had an extraordinary character and that is one hell of a legacy 🖤
Taken from our track “Eternal Grace”, this would perfectly describe him: “A flawless being / More than just a thing.” 🌌
It’s a big loss for a lot of people so I feel compelled to share my memory of Bang Ricky for friends and family to see.
I hope there is heaven Bang. Rest in peace. You will live in every chord I play. And we will meet again in the studio soon - it’s a promise.
It’s incredibly difficult to put this into words, but we’ve just lost our producer, mentor, and brother, Ricky Siahaan. Our deepest condolences also go out to @seringai_official and his family.
