When I got this email in my inbox last month, I truly thought it was a scam lol It was such an incredible opportunity to be in a room full of amazing business owners and content creators here in the San Francisco, Bay Area!
Networking events can feel intimidating, especially when you go by yourself and knowing no one. However, the biggest thing I’ve learned from owning businesses is that it’s the feeling that you need to chase.
I loved hearing from their amazing panel who shared more insight on content creation for small businesses. Did you know that 80% of small business owners end up becoming content creators themselves? That statistic was eye-opening and confirmed that I’m building something that can truly help small businesses across the Bay Area.
The small business diaries is meant to take people behind the scenes of @luckysevenssocial and @withthebride_ . What it’s like, not owning one but two content businesses - all while growing a team, learning to scale and all while being myself and having fun while doing it.

There’s very little words to say when your favorite people plan the most thoughtful moment for you. The people in my life and those I loved dearly are exactly who I do it for. Truly, there’s no level of gratitude to appreciate how special this night was.
My amazing boyfriend @dakotad_11 & best friend @_reeskik for even thinking about celebrating me to begin with. Dakota literally bought me the restaurant (insane). I have never felt so seen by anyone in my life. Truly could not imagine this life without you, I love you so much. Marissa, thank you for knowing me better than I know myself. Me & you since sixth grade is the biggest blessing of my life, sisters forever!!!
