The Void 👾 My first installation is up and running at @wakethetiger !! As part of their new permanent expansion I’ve designed an interactive and immersive experience, that guides the audience to lose their sense of self - and merge with the OUTERverse 🌀 Made in @touchdesigner , the installation combines Kinect Azure Point Cloud data with real-time fluid simulation. Take a moment with me… This piece was written in 2023, capturing the complexities of being a freelance creative - a human business plan. What it means to live your work. And how we seem to edge further and further from our craft. Be that through the never ending funding bids, budgets, contracts, research, and all the other mind numbing things that can soon make you forget why you worked so hard to do this in the first place. Listening back, I’m feeling it more than ever. But still, I wouldn’t navigate this messy world any other way.
