Mariami | The Echo Sound Series 009
Shaped by Cologne’s techno scene and Georgia’s electronic culture, Mariami has developed a sound built on contrasts: delicate yet powerful, warm yet driving. Since 2021, she has been part of the Brutalism label and curates nights in Germany.
Her mix for the series is dreamy and textural, guided by long, flowing transitions that weave between seemingly opposing sounds. Gentle layers and deep basslines meet in a space where softness and strength coexist.
Clara D | The Echo Sound Series 008
Clara D is an emerging artist in the Belgian techno scene who seamlessly blends her roles as a DJ, producer and painter to shape a unique artistic identity.
Her mix sketches a nocturnal landscape where dense fog drifts across cracked earth. Hypnotic patterns coil and unwind like smoke, while sudden percussive strikes ripple through the darkness like distant thunder. It’s a restless journey between stillness and surge.
Franz Jager | The Echo Sound Series 007
Born and raised in the heart of Stockholm’s underground techno scene, Franz was deeply influenced by the rhythms and innovative sounds that defined the era. From an early age, the powerful energy of underground music captivated him, igniting a passion that shaped his artistic journey and fueled his dedication to exploring new sonic territories.
Stepping into our series with a pure techno mix recorded playing both vinyl and digital records, Franz guides us into a sonic space reminiscent of the mysterious depths of a limestone quarry. The pulsating beats echo like dripping water, while haunting blips weave through the air, bouncing off the walls. His mix evokes a visceral sense of wandering, inviting listeners to lose themselves completely in its entrancing rhythm.
Ozzo | The Echo Sound Series 006
At the core of Ozzo’s musical ethos lies a deep connection to club culture and a relentless digger’s mindset. He channels his energy into the Rotterdam scene, his base.
As the next guest in our series, Ozzo invites us into a mental landscape shaped by his sonic identity:
A latenight cityscape unfolds, where the energy of the dancefloor melds with a quiet sense of longing. Dimly lit clubs become sanctuaries of warmth, their elements feel almost tangible. Euphoria surrounds you, yet beneath it lies an undercurrent of melancholy - a grounding force. The iconic TR808 and TR707 sounds evoke a sense of nostalgia for Chicago’s house roots, while a more sexy, soulful vibe brings energy to the mix.
Truxx | The Echo Sound Series 005
Truxx is a DJ/producer duo who thrive on their unique interaction with electronic devices, a central pillar of their techno creation process.In 2022, they established their music label Sine Space 7, channeling their vision into striving to harness the pure sound of a sine wave which is a a signature trait they weave into their music to create a distinctive sound.
In this mix, we are guided through a textured landscape shaped by deep sounds and percussive rhythms. With the addition of the pure tone of a sine wave, their formula completes and Truxx demonstrates us what their essence is.
Haumea | The Echo Sound Series 004
At the core of Haumea’s musical philosophy lies a profound reverence for nature and its intricate rhythms. He believes that the deep connection between humanity and the natural world can be translated into evocative soundscapes that resonate with listeners on a visceral level.
As the fourth guest in our sound series, Haumea slows down his usual tempo to guide us through a mental landscape:
Ominous whispers guide you, awakening hidden, primordial feelings. Leaves rustle, bones crackle, despair and hope intertwine. The ground beneath you dissolves, plunging you into an abyss where past and future converge, revealing lost civilizations and technology beyond reach. At these crossroads, I see all. The sound is simply a guide to our most ancient states, a place where haunting forests, scorching deserts, and misty mountains merge with the boundless potential of human evolution. This is the essence of my sound: the intersection of ancient landscapes and technology.
Serti | The Echo Sound Series 003
Next up on our sound series is Amsterdam-based DJ & producer and Pax Romana resident Serti. He aims to give himself full control/freedom of what he loves the most: making music. With weird soundscapes and clumsy kicks and basslines, he is happier than ever to let everyone know what Serti stands for.
Flits | The Echo Sound Series 002 (@flitsnl )
For the second one of our mix series, we invited Flits, an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer who started his musical career 4 years ago.
Flits utilizes a sultry continuous bassline with teasing, imperfect high hats designed to make your body convulse. He provides his listeners with a distinctive militant marching rhythm that one cannot help but stomp their feet to. Listeners can find a sophisticated tribute to old school influences rooted in his selection.
His productions are an extension of this energy, and he has a plethora of releases in his repertoire under his label, FLITS, and some with his music collective amongst friends, Undivulged. Additionally, he has an Amsterdam event series, Vulged, which has a cult-like following due to its tasteful curations.

Seeing so many smiles and familiar faces during ANTIDOTE x The Echo at De Fik Garden made us feel very warm and fuzzy inside. You brought good energy and made this pop up festival experience one to not forget. A big thank you to all the artists, volunteers, De Fik crew and everyone who made art or contributions in any way. We did this together to make an accessible and fun festival day for everyone!

Expect an immersive experience that blends hypnotic beats, captivating visuals, and inspiring performances as @__the_echo_ is joining us.
Their sound can be described as hypnotic, energetic and moving. They curate and creatively direct their events ensuring that all areas that make up an event are taken into consideration. In each edition they collaborate with an artist from a visual medium.
But the commitment of I-RO & AVgens runs deeper than their passion for music and art. In response to the devastating earthquake in Turkey in 2023, The Echo stepped up by donating part of their profits from The Echo Series 02 to an NGO helping with the recovery efforts. It’s actions like these that show the heart behind The Echo.
We're excited to showcase their blend of art, technology, and music at the De Fik garden. It promises to be an incredible experience and while we are anticipating the festival here are some impressions of past The Echo Series editions.
