VOID 2 BARSTOOL explores the use of negative space as a powerful visual form, equal in impact to the physical form itself. Together, the positive and the negative unify to produce a design that is boldly defined, graphic and pure.
A focused read on Milan’s most compelling design moments, as OKHA Creative Director Adam Court continues his Part 2 edit — a refined lens on form, materiality and deep design pedigree across the city.
Presented during Salone del Mobile 2026 at Milan Design Week, a pavilion by SAOTA in collaboration with YARDCOM rethinks the idea of the “outdoor room.” Conceived as a spatial experience rather than a traditional stand, the project placed outdoor living at the centre, proposing a quieter, more intentional way of inhabiting space. At its core, a central pavilion acted as a calm anchor, balancing openness and shelter while framing moments of pause, gathering, and exchange.
The installation also featured Forma Lenta, an outdoor collection developed with OKHA, reinforcing a slower approach to design and everyday life. Alongside the spatial experience, a roundtable with Stefan Antoni, Greg Truen, Peter Pichler, Claudia Afshar, and Damon Ma explored the evolving relationship between architecture, environment, and design, expanding the project beyond space into dialogue.

Atelier Bowy × Henzel revealed Adam Court’s CLASH rug last night at Milan Design Week.
Epic in scale, with sublime texture and compelling tactility, the rug carries a powerful presence, amplified by the graphic force of the design. A limited edition of 20, it resolves as both surface and structure.
Launched yesterday at Salone del Mobile, Forma Lenta marks a considered shift in outdoor design. Conceived by Creative Director @adamjcourt in collaboration with @yardcomofficial , the collection is defined by a grounded architectural presence and introduces a distinct metallic material language
Day one unfolded through interviews, opening moments and panel conversations with key voices shaping contemporary outdoor space, including @_saota and designer @claudiaafshardesign
Drawing its essence from the vast openness of the African savannas, this collection reflects a world where space, silence and horizon shape the atmosphere. Thara expresses a quiet balance between emptiness and form, creating a silhouette that feels both grounded and free.

For MILAN DESIGN WEEK, OKHA had the pleasure of working with Atelier Bowy and HENZEL to produce the CLASH rug.
Through material experimentation, relief, gesture, and structural variation, each rug is conceived first and foremost as sculptural form. A true partnership of shared values and design vision.

IT TAKES TIME

At Salone del Mobile 2026, OKHA presents FORMA LENTA, a new outdoor collection developed with YARDCOM that challenges the material language of outdoor furniture
The collection centres on gun metal, soft gold and bronze-finished aluminium with refined etched surfaces, allowing light to move across each piece, shifting tone and depth throughout the day. The result is furniture that carries a sense of weight and permanence more commonly associated with interior and collectible design
The collection includes sofas, armchairs, daybeds and tables, conceived to operate across indoor and exterior environments. Forma Lenta, designed by Adam Court, proposes a continuous living landscape, where furniture becomes part of the architectural language.
We’re excited to let you know that OKHA will be presented across three partner collaborations at Milan this year, spanning outdoor furniture for YARDCOM and Snoc, and handmade rugs for Henzel.
Seen together, they offer a clear view into how the studio translates a consistent design language of sculptural form, cultural reflection and soulful materiality across different global partners and contexts.
