I’ve learned that curation expands beyond the playlist.
What started as a cherished Spotify habit became something that needed more room, more intention, an altogether different container.
K-92 radio on soundcloud is that container—an ongoing exploration in how to collect moods, energies, tracks, journeys. Not just what sounds good, but what belongs together.
As the Index Sessions have come to a full close, the THRESHOLD series kicks off. An entryway. A border between portals. Which, in a lot of ways, is exactly where I’m at in life.

This episode features Riverside’s own Kortex, an artist who first caught my attention with his thoughtful mix entry for Kenopsic. I’m glad to finally showcase his sound on the show. Mix is live now.
I’ve never won anything meaningful in my life. That changed last month.
I mean it when I say I had to fight myself to even get a submission in for the @kenopsicevents contest. Self-doubt. Big life transitions. The pressure of the deadline. Emotional shit running in the background.
But I told myself, “If you don’t at least try, you’ll regret it. Even the things you love still ask you to show up.” So I pushed through, hit submit, and felt good just to have participated.

A few days and a fresh mix later, I found myself playing my first warehouse show, and trying not to panic behind an unfamiliar Xone mixer. But I locked in. I pushed through. And once the nerves settled, I started to feel it.
The music. The crowd. The energy.
It was fun. It was a challenge. And rewarding to share my craft on such a special night.
This post is overdue—but before I move on to what’s next, I need to honor this moment.

Hagalaz – the Nordic rune of disruption and transformation. Like a violent hailstorm, it tears away the old to make way for the new. To the ancients, it was a reminder that chaos isn’t just destruction—it’s part of the natural order.
A little over a year ago, I couldn’t tell you the difference between melodic progressive and psytrance—the two subgenres I listened to most. I had no idea what minimal or hardgroove were, but now they’re what I gravitate toward. It’s been nearly a year since I downloaded Rekordbox, with two shows under my belt and a third on the way.
This set is special. I’ve been curating the tracklist for over three months, weaving together ideas and techniques I’ve developed over the past year. It bridges my old taste in techno with the new, a reflection of change and growth.
