ELLE Man’s April digital cover star is Australian actor Jack Patten in UNIQLO x JW Anderson’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection, in stores tomorrow 🧡
You know him as the lead in the television series remake of “Robin Hood”, and as US army staff sergeant, 109, in Netflix’s latest flick “War Machine”. But Patten has just wrapped filming a career-defining movie with Tom Hanks, “Greyhound 2”, a title that is set to make him an international star.
“Tom is a real leader. He elevates everyone around him. Whether he’s conscious of it or not, he sets the tone,” Patten says. “He leads with positivity and grace, and you can’t help but follow that. It’s incredibly inspiring. He’s the best.
“With a project of this scale, you feel it straight away. It’s not just the actors, it’s the crew, the directors, everything. There’s a level of experience that lifts everyone, and you rise with it,” he continues. “We only wrapped last week, so it still feels like, ‘Wow, that just happened’. But it’s surreal and exciting, and to be honest, that never really wears off.”
