I can't say if I over- or underestimated this AI uprising in the beginning, but right now AI is part of my survival.
Every social feed I'm in these days is bombarded with AI content, and the algorithm has me locked into the designer and creative section pretty hard. All that content made me think AI is easy. Grab a few references, ask an LLM for a prompt, upload, generate, done. Not really. Generating one image, even turning that image into a video, isn't the hard part. The nightmare starts when you have more than one shot and an actual narrative. Consistency is a war.
Between the idea and the final cut there's a void of endless iteration, endless prompts, millions of credits burned, and patience I didn't know I had. Biggest takeaway: AI is only as good as you make it. You have to hold its hand and show it exactly what you want, and still expect slop. It's a matter of relentless iteration.
The dream is one prompt to a finished piece. The reality is twelve hours, a hundred re-rolls, and one usable frame.
and bonus points for me, having coolest creatives folks I could've asked for.

This piece is more than just an illustration—it’s a reflection of time and of myself. A quiet look back at where it all began and how far I’ve come. As I placed the final strokes, all I felt was a deep sense of gratitude—for every experience and every person who shaped this . 2025 has been a beautiful year, like the ones before it and it had its ups and down. This work is for everyone who’s been by my side, for all the love and support. Grateful, always. ❤️
