Day 12/31 - talking to someone new every day for Aotearoa Music Month!
Today we have James Farron (@__farron__ ). A DJ and event organiser (for @club.epoch_ ) based in Tāmaki Makaurau! What are our thoughts on his picks? @fletchy.boy , @lorde , @p_money , @thefirefromhampshire
The first ever Club Epoch event is THIS Saturday so if that sounds like a bit of you. Make sure you head along 😎
𝘔𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘍𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘯.
Resident dj and founder of Club Epoch.
Shaped by early experiences on Europe’s dance floors, Farron developed a deep affinity for house, techno and everything in between. Years spent immersed in the culture have led to the creation of something new for Tāmaki Makaurau. Built from the ground up with intention.
His sound moves between genres with ease, thoughtful, emotive, and driven by the moment rather than expectation. Drawing on influences from across decades, each set is a blend of past and present, familiar and unexpected.
Playing the second set of the night, expect proggy basslines, intricate house keys, a gradual build of energy and a few standout moments of euphoria along the way.

Misc. Spain & Portugal from the first roll.
Tested out Harman Phoenix 200 film stock for the first time. I don’t think I like the intensity of the contrast and grain as well as the experimental colours and muddy shadows and probably won’t use it again. Cheers. #cheers
