セッションのホストのひとり、Azharの Q&A！ Q1: このセッションでの目標は何か？ A: みんなに自由になる空間を提供すること。NYのセッションのダンサーが他のダンサー“に”踊るのではなく、ダンサー“と”踊る空気をこの空間に持ってきたい。いろんなコミュニティや空間から来る人たち、バトラーだったりクラブヘッズだったり、いろんなジャンルのダンサーが繋がって、みんなが自分たちの「泡」から抜け出してもらいたい。ステータス関係なく、この人と好きだなと思う人達と純粋な繋がりを作って欲しい。日本のダンスシーンとNYのシーンも繋げていけたらいいと思う。 Q2: ダンサーとして一番大事なことは何だ思うか？ A: 誰かと一緒に踊ることができること。 Q3: 自分の性格はどんな性格か？ A: 自由な精神、クレイジー、ハイパー、鬱、不安症、いつも腹減り、外交的で同時に内向的、ゲーマー、同じく頑固 Q4: 好きなダンサーは誰？ A: Ejoe Q5: ハウスダンサーにとってクラブに行くことは大事なことだと思うか？その理由は？ A: そうだね。クラブはハウスの源だからね。ハウスは社交ダンスだったから。そこが自分のダンスのアイデンティティっていうのが見つかる場所だと思う。クラブは本当の自分になれて、音楽と繋がれる場所。 Q6: 今までで一番良かったクラブ体験は？ A: Wil MiltonのBLISS NYC。このパーティではじめてハウスがどれだけ人を自由にしてくれるかを知ったよ。その前まではバトルとかクラスとかしか知らなかったし、パーティもお酒のイメージしかなかった。 Q7: NYのダンスシーンの好きなところは？ A: パーティと、Shelterやパラダイスガラージなどのパーティのold heads。彼らは自分が誰なのか、自分のありのままを受け入れることも教えてくれたし、クラブエチケットや、どうやって人と踊るかも教えてくれた。 Q8: 日本のダンスシーンの好きなところは？ A: ダンサーがいっぱいいること。 Q9: あなたのダンサーとしての目標は？ A: 音楽と一つになること。人と踊ること。いろんな人とたくさんダンスをシェアすること。踊り続けること。一緒に踊ってる人をなるべく自由にしてあげること。 Q10:他にどんなダンスフォームをいつかやってみたい？ A: ボールルーム Q11: NYで一番好きなパーティは？ A: BLISS NYC Q12: 若い世代のダンサーに言いたいことは？ A: あなたのクリエイティビティと子供心を忘れないで。子供の頃、大人っぽくなりたくても、大人になってから、子供の頃に戻りたいというのは、アーティストによくあることだと思う。社会の中ではとても難しいことなんだけどね。ピュアで純粋な気持ちを大事にして欲しい。 ダンスは一生物だよ。 Q13: 自分を見つける、アイデンティティを見つける上で一番大切な方法はなんだと思うか？ A: クラブに行くこと。自分に正直であること。たくさんの人と話して、たくさんの人と踊って、たくさんの経験をすることで、自分の周りの世界を時間はかかるけどだんだん理解していけると思う。 Q14: 好きなハウスの曲は？ A: Lil Louis - Do you love me / Lil louis - Fable

Happy birthday @ejoewilson 😌 8 years ive known you now and it feels so long ago that i first took your class. Over those years ive had many highs and lows and throughout all of it youve always helped me by making me laugh, being your genuine self and giving me advice. A lot of times when I talk with you the atmostphere of the room always changes and I always think hey things arent as serious as I thought they were and forget/ let things on my mind go. I always thought you making us laugh and making the mood of the room more fun and uplifted might be hard on you and deep down you are carrying a lot of the weight of others by doing this, I wanted to say thank you for that ejoe and that you can lean on your students as we have always leaned on you. As your student and friend I always wish I could give back to you more than you have given to us. Thank you for everything always ejoe, happy birthday and I love you my mentor and friend and always my idol for dance (one of the greatest dancers to live)

From my days of figure skating at prospect park, I miss outdoor skating and my figure skates 😭⛸️💕no more yuzuru hanyu to watch anymore makes me sad too 😭😭 come back pls
