New mix! This time from slug tempo specialist, back of the club lurker and all round legend @___slacky 🐌
From our observations, there appears to some sort of mystical connection lying between the Calder Valley, over the bracken clad pennines to that there Leeds. Some call it the ‘trance pennine express’, others know it as the M62 (aka The Cosmic Highway), others still only know it experientially, through the bleary eyed taxi rides back to the bright lights. At various points along this axis, there lies watering holes with a penchant for a particular lysergic breed of pitched down mutant dance music. Slacky’s world typifies this, both through his curation of Leeds station NARR radio, his label Space Ritual, and through his DJ selections. The recording he has delivered us crunches in all the right directions, slowly folding its vines around your cranium and squeezing gently till your eyes begin to bulge. There is slow acid, there are space rockin synth journeys, there is Coil and there is frankenstein dub creations. Simply put cru, it’s the stuff. Munch it down and see what happens.

🔥 excitingly we have our good friend @___slacky from @narr.radio creating an afters from 10pm at @nan_moors_bar_venue_todmorden he will be playing some downtempo bliss into the night after the clavie closes. we hope to see you all there to get a bit loose.
🔥 also later in the day, @avrilrushemusic will be inviting people to let go of something, someone, anything, into the fire, and let in the new light as we move into the new cycle. this will be outside the fielden hall with a firepit we will be providing, so feel free to bring something to burn (within reason!) this will be around 7.30pm for an hour, casually.
