Heya! I once again played some of my favourite records over at @radio80000 and am once again asking you to head to the link in my bio. Pictured here is a killer lovers version of a Barry White classic, a psychy 7“ on a label called „Good Time Records“ as well as an even rarer picture of yours truly... All in the mix... Head over to the mixcloud now! Go go go, kuss kuss kuss und viel Spaß damit

Another big favourite by Clarice, who is presumably Clarice Labbe that recorded the Jazz-Dance classic „Clarice Swings With Charlie Hampton“ in 1980

Here‘s two big favourites from yesterday’s Dreams For Sale at @radio80000 : While the Quisine 12“ has got me captivated only recently, Christine Lewin has been at the very top of my play-stack for months now. Thanks to the amazing @backatcharecords this piece of afterhour smoothness can also be at the top of your play-stack now! And if you missed out on the live signal, there‘s a link right there in the bio too ツ

Children Of The Night! I hope you‘re all holding up well in the self-isolation. If you hadn’t had enough of all the live-streaming yet, I‘ll be running the signal of my quarantine-stream later tonight. Music of all sorts, 19-22 (CET), link in bio ♥️

I always seem to miss #12inchtuesday, but here‘s a heavy Disco 12“! Skip straight to the b-side for the uptempo magic of „You Know What I Like“ with an uncredited Leroy Burgess on the Vocals. Essential!

#45friday Even though it‘s cloudy and rainy here in Berlin, I‘d like to think that we‘re still somewhat on our Road To Sunshine. I can’t wait for springtime, +15 degrees and more Plastic Flowers open air sessions any longer. Bring the sunshine on!

A late contribution to both #45friday and #internationalwomensday with this beautiful, slow soul-dancer by Rita Joyce. Pressed in very limited quantities by Ren Cen Records in 1979 it seems to be a very scarce record today. I guess I can consider myself very lucky to have caught a very affordable copy just a few years ago ツ

Talk Talk - Spirit Of Eden (1988) While certainly most people are familiar with the name Talk Talk due to their early 80s output - including the hit-singles „It‘s My Life“ and „Such a Shame“ - only a fracture of those people might be familiar with the last two recordings the band around Mark Hollis released in 1988 and 1991. The earlier of these two - Spirit of Eden - marks the moment of an incredibly successful „Pop“ group losing itself in the complete abstract. The fact that part of the album was recorded in an deserted church with lighting options being reduced to an oil projectors and a few candles here and there... The fact that a high two-figure number of studio musicians were called into the studio with only about 18 musicians making it on the actually record... The fact that the record was practically unmarketable, which somewhat led to a lengthy lawsuit between the band and EMI... it all adds to the mystique behind this ingenious recording. This and it‘s 1991 follow-up „Laughing Stock“ are truly up there with the biggest art-pieces (in any artform!) of the last century... but that might be subjective :))

It‘s friday yet again! ✨🎈 If you could only keep one of your treasured house records, what would it be? For me the incredible Slam Dance EP by Mr. Fingers would definitely be a strong contender. Released in 1987 on Larry Heards own imprint Alleviated Records this record is as beautiful as early House can get and every track is a straight up banger... a truly timeless record! Swipe left for the beauty of „Stars“
