Introducing Amanda Atria for GOOD FORM II, the Yale Sculpture MFA Thesis Exhibition for 2026.
GOOD FORM II runs from March 21 - March 29. Please join us for the opening reception on Friday, March 27 from 6-8 pm.
Amanda Atria (Chile, 1995) works with seemingly outdated techniques and materials of semi-industrial manufacturing. Through her work, she explores how these processes thrive outside the scope of hegemonic centers, revealing the wheels of history in motion. Object and subject dynamics shift to a full horizontality, where bilateral dialogue blurs the lines between them.
Atria holds a BFA from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and has exhibited her work in New York, New Haven, Santiago, and Buenos Aires. She is currently based in New Haven, CT where she is pursuing an MFA in Sculpture at Yale University.
