ps this is so embarrassing but this whole shoot was shot with the wrong camera lens because it was the only one i had and i didnt know what i was doing. didnt realize until months later. sometimes i feel stuck and like im not growing or making any progress towards my goals. then i look back at shit like this and im like ok. maybe we r making some progress. although i havent made anything quite as sick as this dress in a while. but this dress took easily 100+ hours to make. i will prob never sell it bc how could i? but if u or anyone u know would want a custom piece like this let’s talk but it aint gonna be cheap… anyways love u thanks for listening if u did 🫶♻️🖤

Did you know that novelty t-shirts flood 25% of the secondhand clothing market in Ghana (according to research done by @theorispresent ) ?? Many of our donated clothing gets shipped overseas and burdens communities that had no part in creating the waste in the first place…
This is why I do my best to upcycle garments that are at the bottom of the bins. Items such as t-shirts are most likely to be sent to landfill and impact local communities/environments. 🌱
