The teenager may have approached the contest playfully, which is understandable considering his age, but those around him who encouraged or facilitated his purchase of the nomination form should have properly guided him on the importance of honesty and integrity in public affairs.
I recall that during the screening process, he reportedly claimed to be 30 years old, a claim now contradicted by the evidence made public by his own family. In light of this development, it is only proper for the teenager to tender an apology to APC stakeholders of Sabon Gari and the good people of Sabon Gari Local Government for the embarrassment and controversy caused.
