Hello everyone. I’m so incredibly nervous/excited to announce my next studio album /LP “tender, exit” is coming out with one of my absolute favourite labels @svbkvlt I’ve spent the last three years of my life working on this, it’s been a process so thoroughly different from how I’ve worked before and the outcome has been so satisfying. The whole process and record became very quickly about fighting cycles and habits which makes putting this out there incredibly nerve wracking. But this feels like the most “me” sounding record I’ve ever made which is something I want to put alot of care into. New music today, bit of a special one tbhhhhhh 3 new bits for fckn Tempa lol, obvs going proper dubstep mode, compressing the life out of some hi hats and making kick drums slightly too long , Tempa was one of the first labels I ever really followed when getting into electronic music so it’s kinda crazee to be able to do this! My album ‘tender, exit’ is out today. I started working on this LP 3 years ago and it’s been the most work I’ve ever put into a project, across two cities and many studios. This entire process has been mulling on the necessity and seeming unfairness of change, leaving somewhere I truly adored and people I cherish and understanding how those connections make sense in a new environment and how new habits can be formed. (Sleeping in the studio for a month lol) This record also wouldn’t be what it is without the contributions from @sickoflintd & terrashotta, it was insane to see what a wordless understanding of the record they had right off the bat and those two songs are extremely special pieces of music to me. This record to me feels like the most accurate representation of that I’m capable of and I’m truly very proud of it. So much gratitude towards @svbkvlt for going through this process with me and taking a chance on it, feels amazing to work with a label I admire so much. And of course such gorgeous photography and design by both @_tsenko and @luke_riffiths respectively, it looks how it sounds lol Thank you to my beautiful friends in beautiful cities, I love you so much I could burst xxxxxx A, A, A, L, R, J, T, P, L etc etc etc Love x
