U.S. Soldiers assigned to the 130th Engineer Brigade and 25th Infantry Division participated in a staff exercise at Schofield Barracks focused on concealment and signature reduction techniques designed to minimize detection from unmanned aerial systems.
Through observation, testing, and field-expedient camouflage methods, Soldiers evaluated how effectively they could blend into the environment and reduce their visibility against evolving battlefield threats.
As technology changes the battlefield, Soldiers continue adapting the way they move, hide, and survive in contested environments.

🙌 Congratulations to SFC Alexis Rodriguez of the 130th Engineer Brigade and his family for being recognized with the 2026 @usaghawaii Installation Family Volunteer of the Year Award.
Their commitment to serving the community reflects the strength of @u.s.armypacific@8thtsc families and the impact they make both on and off duty. In addition, his children were honored as Youth Volunteers of the Year, each contributing more than 50 hours of community service.
