Turning 27 feels extra special because this one is such a full circle moment for me 🥹✨ Thank you 8th Symphony for making my birthday celebration so memorable. I used to come here all the time to WFH, bring my laptop, and spend hours here because the cafe is so beautiful and inspiring. I’d also film little videos here just for fun because every corner was so aesthetic. I remember seeing content creators come here and thinking it was the coolest thing ever… and now I get to be one of those creators collaborating with them for my birthday. Their birthday menu was everythinggg 🎂☕🍵 The matcha tasted so smooth and rich honestly transported me back to Japan We also tried their special birthday drink, Oreo cheesecake, banana pudding matcha affogato, and the matcha cloud. Everything was so thoughtful, creative, and delicious. Moments like this remind me that the little dreams matter too. 📍 8th Symphony, Cerritos 🌟 On the border of OC/LA is this aesthetic cafe proudly serving THE Ashley Alexander’s Nami matcha (which I’m a huge fan of, I need to visit her pop up some day). I reviewed it previously when they used a different matcha powder and unfortunately didn’t like it, but when I heard they switched to Nami- I HAD to come back. 🍵 I got a regular matcha latte with oatmilk, and the upgrade to Nami changed their game. It’s hand whisked, and so delicious- very earthy, light, and pretty much no astringency. Solid 8.5/10 and I’ll have to come back to try their other flavors like the seasonal strawberry cheesecake matcha! OTHER ITEMS: 🌱 Hojicha latte 🌱 Biscoff latte 🌱 Biscoff Croffle (not pictured) 📚: Has pretty decent parking, free wifi, one restroom, lots of seats to study, scattered outlets.
