10 years in NYC
I love my city. She gave me so many fond memories, it feels like I get to look back at a second childhood. I’ll always cherish the deli runs after dancing in LES, the late night drives on the Long Island Expressway while blasting reggaeton with @mimiamaaria , the time I worked in Bushwick for @4gm_studio , the train commute that’s perfect for people-watching, the big band musicians playing in Central Park, the $1 chicken drumsticks in the Heights, the boutique window displays in Greenwich Village, and the beautiful sunset views by the Hudson River.
More than anything, I loved walking down Broadway, doing/saying whatever I want. I could do a cartwheel and rip off my pants and no one would care because people MIND THEIR BUSINESS ✨
I’ll never be a New Yorker since I’m not born and raised, but I am in a long term relationship with NYC and this is my love letter 💌
This year, I finally felt true love. I felt it in every minute of conversation, in every leaf crunching under my feet, and in every musical note. The Universe/God showed me that I have everything I need already. Life is a gift. I love you everyone and everything.
