With 2025 coming to a end I made a lil collage of some art I’ve made this year. :3 #artvsartist2025
2025 was such an amazing year with so many ups and downs. I feel like this year I really truly fell in love with art again. A couple years ago I dropped out of art school and completely lost all motivation to draw and create, my work (or lack there of) reflected that. I gave up on creating.
But we are so back baybey.
The most important things I’ve learned is to create for myself, even if I might be the only person who likes it and that masterpieces aren’t made overnight.
I look back at my super old work and I can feel the sadness anger and insecurities I used to fuel my work. But that only took me so far.
My art these days truly feels happier, and I feel like I pour so much more love and care into everything I make and it shows. Atleast for me haha.
I’m so happy with all I’ve accomplished this year, from just learning so many new skills, making things I never even thought I’d be able to, meeting so many cool people and also getting a tattoo apprenticeship! Shout out to @apeandfrog for taking me in like a stray lil puppy arf arf. I’m extremely grateful to be given a space to create, learn and share. I’m so so so excited to start tattooing one day so keep all your eyes peeled for that. I love constantly being surrounded by other cool talented artists.
To all my friends and family who’ve supported me. thank you so much. Every kind words I store in my head and heart forever.
The end of the year is always a lil hectic and stressful for me but I think making this to reflect on whatever made, what makes me happy, makes me very yipppeeee ! AHHHH YAYYY ! Allowing art back in my life, creating silly lil drawings, has genuinely saved me.
I hope I get to create so much more in 2026, I look forward to seeing what other people make, and getting inspired.
I hope everyone has a happy safe new years :3 sorry for my ramble I don’t expect people to read this lol.
